BOOKING A PROGRAM

How to Book a Programme: Please have ready the name of the programme, preferred dates and time, name of school and teacher, school phone number and size of class.

Supervision: We recommend that one parent accompanies each 10 students.

Programme costs: All programmes cost $40.00 per class unless otherwise noted.

Cancellation fee: A fee of $40.00 will be levied for cancellations received if less than 14 days notice has been given. This will only be waived in the event of bad weather, bus breakdowns
or other unavoidable situations.

Programme confirmation: Confirmation will be provided at least one week in advance by Museum staff.

Bussing: There is a convenient drop off zone in front of the Museum building.

Hope, Agassiz and Abbotsford schools: Museum programmers are unable to travel to your
schools. All programmes can be presented in the Chilliwack Museum. Please call to confirm
availability.

Additional Information: There’s a lot to do in downtown Chilliwack. Check with the Chilliwack
Library, PriceSmart Foods, the Chilliwack Academy of Music, the Chilliwack Arts Centre, Chilliwack Progress or St. Thomas Anglican Church about tours or other activities. Salish Park
and Pond is located within easy walking distance of the Museum and is an ideal place for a picnic.

Chilliwack Archives: The Chilliwack Archives is located in Evergreen Hall. The Archives is
one of the largest and most comprehensive archives in British Columbia. Students are always
welcome and often use archives resources for school projects.

The City of Chilliwack and the Government of British Columbia, through the British Columbia
Arts Council, financially support the Chilliwack Museum and Archives.
